OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT

One of the most arduous problem for an artist is to find his/her own individual pathway. During the development of the self voice, the influences of other admired artistic references can cause what can be defined as the “anxiety of influence”.

In this workshop Vincent Desiderio will focus on awakening in the participant artists their individual painting practices.  They will be encouraged to learn how to trust their personal voice with their preferred methods. 

Lecture regarding originality and the anxiety of influence will be presented.

We will work with live model.Teacher will demonstrate.
